Terms & Policies for DOLOMITES
RESERVATION POLICIES:
Reserving your adventure is easy! Call us at 1-480-322-2084. Our group sizes are small, though, so our adventures frequently sell out months in advance.
A non-refundable* deposit is required when you RSVP. We ask that you don't purchase airline tickets until you have been confirmed and the deposit/sign up period closes on January 30.
When are payments due?
Following the initial non-refundable deposit due at time of reservation, final payment in full is required no later than March 31, 20xx. You can make payments by giving us a call at 1-480-322-2084.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations must be made in writing. If you decide to cancel your trip, please note the specific cancellation policy noted in the specific itinerary.
We reserve the right to cancel all or a portion of a trip or adjust the itinerary as needed. In the event of such a cancellation, full or partial refunds, if any, will be at our sole discretion. We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip (including non-refundable air tickets, visa fees, gear or medical expenses, etc.). We suggest that you don't purchase airline tickets until your adventure has been confirmed.
Trip Insurance:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Therefore, we recommend Trip Protection that helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses and more. Travel insurance is non-refundable. It is typically a percent based on the total cost of the trip. Preexisting conditions may be excluded from coverage. If you choose to waive trip insurance, you will need to sign a waiver stating such.
MEDICAL CONCERNS:
Participants requiring any form of assistance, including travelers with physical disabilities, sight or hearing impairments, are required to notify us prior to reservation (in writing) for review and our agreement. Additionally, upon written agreement, you must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other tour, hotel, ship personnel are not able to provide such assistance. Tailormade Adventures may be fast-paced, often requiring lengthy walks over uneven terrain. In the interests of group harmony, you should be able to maintain the pace of the group.
Trip leaders have the right to disqualify anyone at any time during the trip if they feel a member is incapable of continuing and/or if a trip member's continued participation jeopardizes the group's or the individual's own safety. Under these circumstances, refunds are not given. Expenses, including cancellation fees and/or costs for alternate travel plans or to return home, will necessarily be borne by the trip participant.
Wheelchairs & Walkers:
USA Adventures: Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (the ADA), we seek to accommodate disabled travelers to the extent possible and consistent with the specific tour itinerary. Nevertheless, you may find that certain tour features may not be accessible to the extent that you require a wheelchair, scooter, or other special equipment to participate. We cannot provide individual assistance to travelers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices. We regret that some itineraries cannot accommodate wheelchairs or motorized scooters. Participants are required to advise us of their accessibility requirements prior to booking, in writing, in order for us to determine if reasonable accommodations are available. We will endeavor to accommodate special access needs, but do not guarantee we will be able to do so in all cases.
International Adventures: Hotels, sea and river cruises outside of the United States are not required to comply with ADA requirements and therefore may not have ramps, wide entryways or elevators to accommodate disabled passengers or devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters. Due to physical constraints and space limitations, wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters may not be taken aboard motor coaches and river cruises.
Service Animals: Service animals cannot be accommodated on international escorted tours. Passengers on USA escorted tours who require a service dog because of a disability should check with us before booking an adventure.
